I would like to personally welcome you to our office. I am looking forward to taking care of all your eye and vision needs, whether it involves a simple refraction for glasses, or a complex corneal transplant procedure. The management of dry eye disease is one of my areas of expertise, and I have received numerous grants from pharmaceutical companies to investigate their products. As an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA for many years, I have been involved in the latest therapies and techniques in the field of ophthalmology to better serve your eye care needs. As the current Chairman of the Section of Ophthalmology at Huntington Memorial Hospital, I feel honored to have been named as one of Pasadena Magazine's "TOP DOCS" for 2009, 2010, and 2011. In addition, I was nominated by KCAL-Channel 9 for "Best Ophthalmologist" in the Los Angeles area for 2010 and 2011. I have been selected by my peers as one of the top opthalmologists in Southern California for 2012, in Super Doctors, published in the January 2012 issue of Los Angeles Magazine.

When I am not in the office, I am busy trying to keep my5 year-old twin daughters out of trouble! Hopefully when they're a little bit older, I can spend more time pursuing my hobbies such as sailing and painting:)

Hello! I would be happy to assist you with selecting the perfect frame, reviewing the different lens options, and explaining your insurance coverage. I have been in the field for 7 years and I still enjoy being a frame stylist. I can help you with any repairs or fitting if need be, and we welcome outside perscriptions. Please feel WELCOME to stop by our Optical Boutique to try on glasses, ask any questions, or just to say "hello."
Away from the office I enjoy spending time with my husband and our children Andrew - Samantha - Ryan at the movies, Disneyland, a Dodger game, the park and most of all just hangin out with them and making memories.

Hi! I am one of the first friendly voices or face to welcome you to our office. I am bilingual and can help you make your appointment, will help Dr. Hong with pre-testing, and other needs. I pride myself on customer service and enjoy interacting with patients, hoping to make you feel comfortable and confidant in our services. It's always a pleasure to meet new patients and to greet familiar patients when they return each year.
Away from the office I enjoy spending time with family and friends, but especially enjoying my time with my grandson Justin - my pride and joy!
